Blackberry 8900- unable to sync calendar with desktop.

I have tried syncing my device up with the BB device manager to sync my desktop calendar with device.  I have duplicate entries in my device now which some are outdated and have been deleted.  Why are they still showing up?

Are you using this bb on a BES? The desktop manager should have options for what to do with duplicate entries, do you know what version you are using?
