FirstNet is A Joke
So, my husband and I are both first responders in different capacities. He is more behind the scenes while I am on the front lines. We have both been with Verizon for years, but when we were introduced to First Net, we decided to give it a try. BIG MISTAKE! HUGE!!!! First off, the service is some of the absolute worst I've ever experienced to be polite about it in all aspects, not only connection issues but also customer service. I have terrible connection issues while at work and have more times than I can count anymore where I have not had service in places where I had excellent service with Verizon and have been with them for less than a month. Then we had an issue with our bill. We contacted customer service and in a 25 minute phone call the only thing the agent would tell us was that we needed to go back to the store where we signed up and talk to them because she couldn't do anything. She refused to help. When we hung up and tried to call back, the call center was already closed at 2000! Apparently it closes at 1930?? Seriously?? Aside from the fact that we didn't get the deals or incentives we were told we could, our bills along with the Bill's for our daughter's phone, which we were told would not be the first responder rate or service but would still be billed on my bill to reduce the number of bills and separate payments, come out to only be slightly less than what we were paying with Verizon but much more of a headache. Now we have 3 separate bills that have to be paid every month which creates a big headache in and of itself and the horrible and rude customer service doesn't make the little amount of money we are saving worth it for my sanity. I am looking at once again changing my cell phone provider, if nothing else but to just get better service all around. If you don't have FirstNet, don't listen to their false promises. It's definitely not worth the aggravation and headache.

I recently switched from verizon to firstnet hearing they take care of first responders. What a mistake that was when I initially signed up they told me I would receive a $200 gift card for switching to there service. I then signed up for a promotion for the samsung 9 where they told me I would only pay 99 cents a month for the phone itself. I received neither. After three months and multiple complaints they sent me a $200 credit. I then proceeded to ask why I haven't received my discount promotion on my phone. They then told me they can't give me it due to receiving the $200 credit! To say the least I will be posting on my union page for the entire Cleveland police department not to use this service so they are not scammed also by false advertising.

I agree totally! I have had the exact same HORRIBLE issues! Bad customer service, lost account information, massive trouble signing up to FirstNet, disconnected phone calls to support, dropped calls while driving, unacceptably long wait times on hold for support (1-2 hrs), call back sometimes gets you a call back only to be put on hold for several minutes, mass confusion between every tech I’ve talked to (L1 & L2), promised a call back from a supervisor and NEVER recevied it... the list goes on. I’m on the verge of going social media about these issues. Who do we contact? FCC? FirstNet commission? I can’t believe we awarded them several billion dollars for this crappy service! We still have dead areas in our county that they were supposed to fix.

I changed to 1stNet because I went in to att to buy earphones for my daughter, when the sales representative starts telling me about services o explained that I was happy with Tmobile . I then saw the 1st responders poster and inquired about it. I was told how it catered to 1st responders how it had a special Sim cars that read through walls and thus never dropped calls or had blackout spots. How 6 months was half off and phones where free with promotion. ALL LIES.!!! This is the worst service I've ever experienced. ! The phone shows I have all bars and 5g coverage but when I attempt to make a call the phone says no signal? Please explain! My bill say I don't owe money then when I try to pay says nothing due......save your money save your mind and stay far far away...

I would not recommend firstnet to anyone. I already had mine and my daughter’s phone service with at&t. I was looking to purchase an watch and as a first responder, I was introduced to firstnet for my watch. I was told the watch would be free and I would just have to make the monthly payments for data and insurance. Well… four months in and I’ve already cancelled service. I’m not about to go into a long discussion but it has turned out to be the worst experience and I’m currently transitioning to another service provider for my phone. I will not be coming back to at&t. I should have let my phone lines go when I let the cable and internet go. Firstnet better get it together or at&t will be losing a lot of their customers

Ok.... here we go again.... now I am told that I AM NOT A FIRST RESPONDER! And, My OUTGOING CALLS WILL BE SUSPENDED IN A FEW DAYS!!! Seriously! TWO MONTHS!
To be honest, AT&T was helpful with somethings, but now, AGAIN I am here, and now threatened with limited service.
Honestly, this time if no one fixes this, I am going to the BBB, and my folks in the government to seek relief!
I WANT OUT OF FIRSTNET NOW!
I WILL NOT PAY EARLY TERMINATION FEES, OR ANY OTHER FEES THAT YOU GUYS REQUIRE DUE TO YOUR FAILED PRODUCT!
I WANT AND NEED SOMEONE TO CONTACT ME ASAP!
