Hard Inquiry
AT&T Services Inc. LS did a hard inquiry on my and my husbands credit. We do not have any AT&T accounts, have not applied for or even looked into any AT&T services. I called the 800 number to ask why this was run so I can determine if it is identity theft or a random/exploratory inquiry by AT&T (without my permission). I was transferred to the fraud department, but was on hold for 1 hr plus and gave up. How can I find out why this was done? I followed the thread and suggestions on the support site and have been unable to get an answer. I need to get an answer so if it is identity theft I can address it asap.
