Military Discount Denied In-Store

I am a veteran of the armed forces and have all documentation needed in order to obtain the 15% discount that is listed on your site. I have read the fine print...which is listed below...

 

15% Service Discount on current unlimited plans from AT&T: Available to (a) active military service personnel providing a valid military ID or current paystub; (b) qualified military veterans providing either a Department of Defense Form DD214 indicating an honorable discharge, or a valid retired military ID or current AMVETS membership card; and (c) qualified spouses of active duty or deceased military service personnel providing a valid Department of Defense sponsorship card. Eligible individual must take personal liability for his or her account and must be enrolled in the AT&T Signature Program. Eligibility for discount ceases when individual is no longer qualified. 15% service discount applies only to the monthly plan charge, not to any monthly device access charges, and is applied after the application of any available AutoPay & paperless bill discount. Additional restrictions apply. For pricing and plan details, see att.com/unlimitedtoday.May take up to 3 bill cycles after eligibility is confirmed and will not apply to prior charges. May not be combined with other service discounts. Offer available only in AT&T and authorized dealer retail stores and is subject to change. I went in store to obtain my discount and the customer service representative stated that ATT only applies the discount to military personnel who have a current service subscription to ATT unlimited plans, EXCLUDING internet. This is extremely bothersome. After reading ATT's fine print, it explicitly states that this discount is offered to qualified veterans with unlimited data plans. I myself, have no other plan from ATT other than the 1000 mpbs unlimited internet package/plan. I simply ask that you change your terms/fine print so other veterans and active duty military are not mislead, or give qualified veterans the 15% discount that is clearly stated above for qualifying plans. Please address this issue promptly. Thank you.
