AT&T 7.6.3 cannot show network traffic status

System: Windows XP SP3 CHN
AT&T client version: 7.6.3 -- IBM
Broadband: China Unicom 2M ADSL home version,
Connection type: Cable to ADSL Model directly, no switch, no router.
Issue: AT&T 7.6.3 cannot show network traffic status

I can access my company's intranet thru this connection and it's stable, but it cannot show network traffic status---no send/receive packages, no rolling signal , after I met this situation, I reinstall the netclient but problem still persisted, did someone get this issue before?

I'm waitting for your solution!

Problem solved after I reinstalled it at the 3rd time. I don't know why....

I'm so confused! Anybody met this spooky thing?
