VPN Ports
by awisbey » Fri Aug 20, 2010 9:46 am
Is there a way to change the ports used e.g. 500, 4500 ? I use VPN from home but also use Vodafone Sure Signal (which itself used VPN) and it seems you can't run them together as the router doesn't know where to forward the incoming request for that port.

Turned out my router was not doing P.A.T. Port Address Translation properly.

The other option you can try is to use ephemeral source ports by selecting that option in the Preferences in the client.
