S8 plus enhanced push to talk support?

I see att has added the S8 to the supported list already but no S8 plus. Why? Makes no sense what so ever. Same phone. Just add SAMSUNG-SM-G955U and your done. It is aggravating when you randomly select which phones will be supported. It forces me to root my phone's and edit the build.prop to make att's server think a supported phone is connected so the app will activate. Please add the S8 plus.
