CPNI OPT OUT Feb 2020

I tried to opt put of the CPNI this morning. Per the postcard I received in the mail, I tried to OPT out using the 800-315-8303 phone number, entered my account number and zip code as requested and it could not FIND my account information. So I tried the 2nd option and went online at ATT.COM/CPNI/OPTOUT and guess what, got the same message. So I tried the 3rd option and called the 800-288-2020, waited to the usual 5 minutes or so before an AT&T representative got on the call with me and they updated my account with my OPT OUT option. Took about 15 minutes in total to get this done. I was told I would receive an email within 24 hours from AT&T confirming my account has been updated as I requested.

AT&T sure makes it very hard to OPT out of CPNI. And from reading the other comments posted, seems others have had the same problem OPTing out using the online option or automated phone option. AT&T, why do you even list them as options if they are not working?

As an AT&T customer and stock holder, I'm not impressed.
