How long does it take to get a phone activated. I completed the online activation.
I have completed the online activation and am waiting for the conformation email. How long should it take?

It normally takes 24 hrs. Has it been that long for you?
****Moderator Update****
Within 20 minutes of activation your phone should be working.
With your Wi-Fi OFF, test your voice connection, text, and data by placing a call, sending (and receiving) a text message, browsing the web, and downloading an app.
For Corporate Responsibility Users (CRU customers where your company pays your bill for you), devices are sent activated and the new phone and the new SIM are shipped together.
If anything is not working correctly contact Premier Support at 866.499.8008, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern Time. For orders placed outside Premier please contact Business Customer Service 800-331-0500.

Can I use my old Sim card on a phone?
I had a Blackberry Torch, now I've upgraded to an HTC Vivid.
Contents: Phone, Charger, Battery, Sim Card, Papers.
It came in the mail today and I Activated it by using instructions it gave me by e-mail.
Number given by using a code on the phone, and the numbers on the new sim card in the phone.
Can I use my old Sim card? Even though I activated it (Still pending) with the code of the new Sim card?

I can make calls and Text, but no internet access when I put the old sim.
When I try to go in the browser its Says " Connection failed: This applicvation requires network access. Enable mobile network or Wi-Fi."
I've used the Wi-Fi when I'm at school to send an e-mail and use the connection.
But I have no data connection to use the phone alone for the internet. When I look on my Activaton e-mail it still says "Pending Activation" And it's been well over 24 hrs

I had the same issue when I activated my new SIM online. I waited three days and then called AT&T and they were able to activate it immediately. The person I dealt with stayed on the phone until she was sure my line was activated that I could make calls and access data.
