Why does AT&T treat their business account customers so poorly
I have been a AT&T business customer for over (14) fourteen years, Approximately (2) two months ago I went into the Metairie, Louisiana store to get a sim card to add a new line to my business account but was I was told by the store representative there were (2) two unpaid AT&T accounts link to my business account and I could not pay my business account bill nor was I able to get a SIM card for new employee phone I just hired. The gentleman also explain that both he and anyone at the store was unable to help but I must contact AT&T fraud department to get this issues resolved to do business inside the store I left my business card for the store manager anyway (I was never contacted), this was a total loss of productivity for me and loss to my small business bottom line.
(Side note this is the 2nd time this has happen with my AT&T business account, Back in March 2017 this same exact issue was a loss to both me and my business, for over two weeks before it was finally resolve) my main question is why does this keep happening?
This time it has been over a month and a half, and I have made over (100) one hundred plus telephone calls to customer service, I sent numerous emails, and I also online chats with AT&T representatives. Nothing until yesterday 12-12-22 I finally reached AT&T Fraud Department for them to tell me these accounts are not associated with me, Sadly this was something I already knew! But wait my issues were still are not resolved, I was told by Fraud Department they also could not help me but that I must contact AT&T Credit & Activation Department but there is no direct line to them and I must go through AT&T customer service. PLEASE TELL ME HOW BOTH RIDICULOUS & ABSURD IS THIS! Why can't this not be resolve by one person and just one telephone call, I truly do not understand! I am completely wore out plus I am also not sure how long it will take to finally get to credit and activation, I feel AT&T Business Customer Services is at a new all time low and absolutely terrible customer service resolving their own internal problem, no one is trained to fix or resolve problem while there customer suffers. I ask myself would Google Fi, T-Mobile, or Verizon treat their business customers this way? Sadly my answer is Absolutely Not, so why I am still trying to do business with AT&T?
Thank you for completely wasting my time and my business money AT&T!
