REMOVING AN EASEMENT OWNED BY SOUTHWESTERN BELL (purchased by ATT)
Hi, I was wondering if there was a department one can reach out to to remove an easement that is no longer in use. I have an easement that is land locked and cannot be accessed from any side, so I am assuming the easement was abandoned on my neighbors properties but not recorded as abandoned on mine. I live in Dallas, so I might try going to the office building but that might not help. I have tried to read some threads on here but have not found much help. Any help is appreciated.
Some background on the easement
(it was an easement in order to cut and maintain trees, and there are no longer any trees on the property, does that mean the easement is to no longer be valid?) I will attach a screenshot of the easement here. It was given to southwestern bell in 1946 and since then it has been bought out by two different companies, which now happens to be ATT. I wish they had a department that handled this specifically we could contact and be happy campers. -_-
I have contacted Denton County and they have told me to contact the owner of the easement to submit for release.
Thank You Guys
