1080 voicemail problems

HELP!  All of a sudden voice messages from seven years ago and longer have taken  the place of our current outgoing messages. No one seems to know how to delete them and get our messages recorded, can you help? Thank you

We do not currently have an account with AT&T. We have the physical phone system from AT&T.

 We have had this phone for at least seven years, and now old voicemail messages are being heard when people call into us and need to leave a message. We had our own greetings recorded but somehow they’ve disappeared and these other ones have taken over.
