Is there a range of numbers in the SIM ID that will tell me if a SIM card is 3G or not? I have a large amount of lines to upgrade and need to know if we need to replace the users current SIM cards with 3G to make them compatible witht he new 3G devices were are ordering. TIA!

There isn’t anything in the ICCID (SIM card #) that will indicate whether it is a 2G or 3G SIM card. However, if you’re looking at the SIM card itself you will see an orange 3G fireball on the front or a white 3G printed on the back. If there is no 3G text on the SIM card at all, it is a 2G SIM card.
