Easement release

I am looking for a contact within the AT&T right-of-way department that can help determine if a 1960 Pac Bell Telephone Company easement affecting a property in San Diego County, Ca can be released.

WOULD BE MUCH EASIER FOR EVERYONE... If instead of asking to DM you shared for all to read what the answer is.. there is forum thread after forum thread asking this exact question and each time a robotic response that helps no one else with the same issue.

What we all want assistance with is a process to follow that’s public to request amendments / removal to existing easement on land for telephony cable - what is the process?

Hi @SDLMUSA,

The reason we ask to move the conversation to a DM is so that you are not posting your contact information and project details publicly. We need to gather this information to locate an engineer in your area. Unfortunately, AT&T engineer contact information is not something that we can share publicly. Engineers are assigned to various locations which can frequently change.

We've sent you a DM to gather your project details so we can assist you with your easement request. We'll be standing by,

You continue to not read. I don’t need an engineer. Like many we just want the public guidelines from ATT when requesting to understand the process to follow to remove or amend your easement on our land. Read the actual question!!

Hello @SDLMUSA,

Yes-we hear you and totally understand. If you are looking for general easement information you can go to the county land records office or city hall and ask a clerk to show you a map of the easement locations. A survey of the property will also show the location of utility easements.

If you are looking for easement amendments or removals that will need to go through the engineering department. As stated, we're here to assist you-please follow up with our DM, and we will take it from there.

Ok that wasn’t so hard for everyone to read with the same problem. I have all the information from the city already. Please can you advise what the process is your engineering department will follow.

I.E. I submit a request then what happens? What is the process?

the reason I’m asking publicly is because many have the same issue and it would just help if they can read it in the future also.

Hi @SDLMUSA, Usually what happens is we locate an engineer in the area and provide them with the customer details. After the engineer responds to our request, they typically would contact the customer within 24-48hrs to follow up on the details on the project. Please let us know if you have any other questions. We'll be standing by.
