Unlock free phone
Hi all,
I had a promotion when sign contract with ATT. I bought one iPhone X and got one iPhone 8 for free. Then I want to unlock iPhone 8 for giving it to my friend.
So how can I do it? Because iPhone8 is free so it's confusing to find a way to unlock it. Because every phone need to be pay off before unlocked.

I signed up in a Walmart for basically the same promotion. For each new line I signed up for, I got an iPhone, a $200 visa gift card, and a $50 Walmart gift card. Great, right? I didn’t need them or have the time, but it looked solid, so I signed my whole family up. I have been trying to get the promotion applied for 16 months now! I didn’t get the right iPhones, I got ONE $50 Walmart gift card, none of the Visa cards, and I pay $227 for the phones (that I never needed) every month! He promised that my bill would be $100/mo which is what I’d been paying before with T-mobile. The promotion was never applied. I called every month for the first 8 months or so and then gave up. I’ll be paying for another 2 years! Most of the time I call, it takes over an hour and nothing is ever accomplished. I am often transferred to wrong departments or disconnected. Also, the signal is horrible. I’m lucky to get 2 bars.
