Wireless signal drops daily

What is the main cause of a wireless signal dropping every day? I have Cox at my home 2 miles away and it's never dropped once. Maybe it's time to switch to them at my business also! Trying to get anywhere on the phone with customer service here is a nightmare.  I've wasted too much of my time on hold just to have them drop the call. Does anyone else feel like we should be given credit on our billing for these issues?
