FirstNet black eSIM

Thank you for those details, Justin. We want to just clarify to ensure that we understand what information you are asking for. Instead of using a FirstNet SIM card, you want to know if there is an eSIM that gives the same functionality as a FirstNet SIM, correct?

Thank you for the clarification. You can use Dual SIM card service, but just be aware that Dual SIM capability can interfere with FirstNet connectivity. You will not be able to access FirstNet connectivity when a call is in progress on the non-FirstNet SIM. If you select the non-FirstNet SIM as the SIM to receive data, then all data is sent and received using that SIM cards's configuration, not the FirstNet SIM card's configuration. That could potentially cause you to exceed your personal data plan.

AT&T - can you please just answer the question (or admit that you do not know)?  The thread's question was a simple one - is there a FirstNet eSIM that is equivalent to the black FirstNet SIM.  It should be a yes or no.  Instead, this thread goes like this:

OP: Is there a FirstNet eSIM?

AT&T: defines eSIM and asks if OP has FirstNet

OP: Yes, has FirstNet. 

AT&T: clarifies that OP is asking about a FirstNet eSIM

OP: Yes, OP is asking about a FirstNet eSIM. 

AT&T: FirstNet works with dual SIMs (still not addressing whether there is an eSIM)

OP: Ok. 

AT&T: OP should just use a physical FirstNet SIM. 

This is why these forums are so frustrating.  People have a simple question and the "help" has to ask a bunch of immaterial questions, and by the end, never actually answers the question.

Wait, so If there's no eSIM that can be used for FirstNet, then how am I currently using a FirstNet eSIM on my iPhone 11? When I added my iPhone to FirstNet, the form just asked me for my IMEI2. Almost immediately, once my order went through, my phone prompted me to install a new carrier profile and cellular plan from AT&T.. and so far it's been working?

what does it show for your carrier in the upper left hand of your phone? FirstNet or AT&T?

You can use the eSIM that's equivalent to the AT&T orange SIM on FirstNet (I tried it too and it worked fine). The question in the OP was whether there was a black SIM equivalent eSIM, which it appears there is not. The orange SIM lacks certain features, I believe relating to network prioritization.
