Change the Message Retention setting in AT&T Landline Texting
Our I.T. lead advised our teams that we should be purging old messages and emails every six months. I’m going through our systems to see if they can do this automatically. Does anyone know if AT&T Landline Texting has options for retention?

Yes, the Admin Console in AT&T Landline Texting includes options for message retention. This setting allows you to purge messages after a designated timeframe. To configure the Message Retention settings, log into the Admin Console. Click on the dropdown arrow at the top right and then click on Settings. Click on the tab for the desired account and then click on the Change Data Retention Settings. See our tutorial “Changing the Message Retention setting using the AT&T Landline Texting Admin Console” for step-by-step instructions. You can also visit asecare.att.com to see more tutorials on other settings found in the Admin Console.
