New Business Wireless Account: Order Status - Action Required
I have to say, I am not thrilled at all with my first interactions with AT&T. I placed an order two days ago for an AT&T Small Business Unlimited Elite wireless account with an iPad Pro. After I paid the taxes and filled out my business information, I got an email with the order number and it gave me the estimated delivery dates.
Then, yesterday, I get an email saying this:
"We have an important update about your wireless order **-***************. Here are the details.
********, LLC's Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch 4th generation
Number not displayed
Status: Action Required
It looks like we couldn't complete your order **-***************.
Let's get things back on track. Call us at the number below and have your order number and passcode handy.
Be sure to get in touch with us by midnight ET on 9/5/2020 or we'll have to cancel your order."
I have called the number given at the bottom of the screen numerous times and tried to get AT&T the information needed to fulfill my order and new account creation. However, I have been between departments for the LAST 4 HOURS and everyone keeps saying I am in the wrong department.
At this point, I do not have any information about my account other than the first email sent confirming the order and the one quoted above, both containing only the order number. I have no clue what to do and I am honestly baffled that the barrier to entry is this high to work with AT&T. It feels like every person i've talked to (minus one or two) couldn't care less about my issue. I mean I am about to pay a good chunk of money monthly to work with AT&T, yet I couldn't feel like my business mattered less today...
