OS update returns "general/unspecified error" after prompting for Google account

My K88 Trek 2 updated and now times out after 5seconds

So my trek 2 K88 did an update the other day. Ever since the update my screen will go dark after 5 seconds of inactivity. I have gone into settings and extended the time to as much as 10 minutes just to see, with no success. Has anybody else had this happen and if so how is it fixed? Thank you.

How can I replace the AT&T Uber app on my Galaxy S7 with Google Play version?
