BC still without phone service
On May 23 I posted a complaint about my business phone being turned off; believing AT&T had not sent a bill after taking over as my telephone service provider earlier in the year.
Well my business phone being disconnected had nothing to do with AT&T; however, getting AT&T to become my provider was a whole lot of different problem which have not been (at least from my end) resolved.
Initially, AT&T asked me to return to her in November 2011, Reluctantly I agreed because AT&It's quote was about $75.00 less a month than my present carrier.
In the following months I was involved representing a client in two (Edited per community guidelines) against the top two banks in the US. Really was not concerned about who was my phone carrier. But I did ask the person picking up the mail if there was any bills from AT&T. It was the end of February when I was able to begin to open the three bags of mail. At&T never took over my phone service;and by the time I got around to the bill from my present carrier my phone service had been terminated.
I really do not understand how these carriers are allowed to charge these prices. My phone bill should have been less than $1,000.00. However my latest bill is over $4,000.00.
Up to this time AT&T really had no involvement. However, AT&T specifically told me that I had a balance do on my home U-verse account (about $800.00). My wife and I had just recently moved and AT&T promised that if I returned the "boxes" and paid about $300.00. AT&T would install the internet at our new residence along with turning my business phone at the house.
I sent AT&T the four boxes and paid the remaining balance owing AT&T. I even received a phone call from the office of the president of AT&T stating my new service would be forth coming.
YELL, the next morning I received a call telling me that I owed about $800.00 for my phone bill from 2008. I have received these bills and reviewed them. These invoices are for the months of April, May and June of 2008. The problem's I signed a contract with Century Tell in February of 2008 making them my telephone carrier.
Houston we have a problem !!!!!! Is AT&T making up these bills? Was the other carrier suppose to pay a portion to AT&T out of what I paid them? Or is there some type of fraud being perpetrated?
I have been without my bigness line since early April. Even if I were to get my old number working now; I is probably to late to salvage my business. But, maybe there is a multi-million dollar (Edited per community guidelines) hidden in these fastened the thought of this scam having been perpetrated upon other AT&T customers makes droll.
"Lucy you have some splaining to do"
And to think they closed this matter on Friday
