AT&T Driver Complaint

On May 21, 2018 at approximately 3:44 pm, I was driving eastbound on Sunbeam Road in Jacksonville, FL when an AT&T truck with an attached trailer suddenly pulled out in front of me to make a left-hand turn. The driver was attempting to get into the far left-hand turn lane heading westbound on Sunbeam Road. There was not enough room for him to complete the turn due to stopped traffic heading westbound on Sunbeam Road. The driver must have realized this too late when he came to an immediate stop which subsequently blocked both oncoming eastbound lanes. This forced me to brake hard as to not strike the vehicle/trailer combo. I honked my horn to alert the driver that he was obviously blocking oncoming traffic. He flipped me off and eventually was able to complete his turn once westbound traffic started to move again.

Once his truck and trailer were no longer blocking eastbound traffic, I made an immediate U-turn in order to take pictures of the trailer's license plate and any other markings that would identify the driver. I then made a left-hand turn into a shopping center where I was able to take a side profile picture of the truck and trailer (he was still stopped in the left-hand turn lane going westbound on Sunbeam Road). The driver appeared to still be distracted because traffic began to move in front of his vehicle and he remained stationary, now blocking westbound traffic in the far left turn lane (See pictures below). Please note that all of this occurred right next to a school bus which you can plainly see in all of my photos below.

The driver is a white male in his early to mid-40's and was wearing a yellow t-shirt. All of the licensing and markings on both truck and trailer are legible and should be able top provide enough details as to who was driving the vehicle.

Photos Taken (all image metadata in tact):

There are no obvious phone numbers to call on the vehicle or trailer, so I searched the internet and also called AT&T directly for the correct department to file a formal complaint. I was only provided a corporate mailing address of:
AT&T
308 S. Akard St

14th Floor

Dallas, TX 75202

This will not suffice as a resolution and such negligent driving is unlawful and extremely dangerous, especially when school is out and buses are on the road. I've read many similar complaints regarding AT&T trucks and reported traffic violations. Ironically, I've discovered the middle finger is a common way to represent your Fortune 100 company when your driver's are angry. Research this yourself if you don't believe me. This employee needs to be severely reprimanded and/or terminated for such negligent and erratic driving behavior. I wouldn't waste my valuable time putting this together if I wasn't so concerned about public safety. I hope others who have observed or experienced such negligence will find this post and know they are not alone and that this is a serious problem. Maybe there's a reason you don't put contact numbers on your trucks (subcontractors perhaps?). [edited for privacy – please do not post personal information]

Excellent report,  I hope you get an answer for this issue.  I also have an issue with ATT and trying to talk to a human other than customer service  it impossible.  The cooperate elites are well protected.
