Cancel a Tablet Data Plan Account

My church would like to cancel a tablet data plan account since we don't have the tablet any longer, but unfortunately the gentleman who set up the account is no longer with the church. I called customer service and they said that I'd have to go to an AT&T store for help. I went to the AT&T store today and was told they couldn't help, that only the original personal could cancel it. Well, that's the problem, isn't it...he's no longer around?!?!?! Can someone help me with the steps needed to make this happen? I have the latest bill, but I have no way of logging into the account. Thanks in advance.
