Change from Business Account to Personal Account

I have an AT&T Wireless account through my company which I am leaving. How do I change the account from a Business Account to a Personal Account and take over the billing responsibility on my personal credit card?

Thanks for the prompt response. There is only one line of service on the account and that is the one transferring.

Hello @markhs,

Thank you for those details. You can call our National Service Center at 888-444-4410 M-F: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET Sat: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET Sun: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET to complete the transfer of billing responsibility (ToBR). Here's what you need to know:

 

The phone number or business account status must be active or voluntarily suspended when the receiving customer calls to complete the ToBR.

A credit check may be ran to determine if you will have to pay a deposit.

There cannot be a past due balance on the business account.

If you're not listed on the business account as authorized, please reach out to your company's administration to have them call in to release the line over to you.

Once you're sure the line has been released by your company, please call the National Service Center to complete the transfer.
