Transfer of Billing Responsibility
Learn how to initiate a transfer of billing responsibility for a wireless number from one AT&T account owner to another OR learn how to accept a transfer. You can start the transfer online, and the future account owner can accept billing responsibility online.
Are you INITIATING a Transfer of Billing Responsibility?
If your business online account is managed in myAT&T go here for detailed steps.

Go to www.att.com/tobr.

Select Transfer of Billing Responsibility.

Enter your ID and password.

Follow the prompts.

On the Premier homepage, from the I want to list on the taskbar, select Transfer billing responsibility.

Enter the wireless number you want to transfer, and then click Go. The Transfer Billing Responsibility page appears.

Make sure the wireless number is correct, and then click Continue.

Enter an email address for the user and select the date on which you want service canceled if the user does not accept billing responsibility. We recommend that you allow the user at least 5 days to accept responsibility for the wireless number. Click Continue.

Verify that the information is correct, check the Acknowledgement Transfer of Billing Responsibility box, and then click Submit. The Confirm page appears and your request is submitted to AT&T.

Select Request a transfer from another person.

Enter the requested info.
