LIVE CHAT AGENTS

The chat option is horrible for the fact that the agent can input ANYTHING in the notes and NOT WHAT THEY PROMISED! So therefore you have nothing to go by if you didn’t saved save the chat history or if you didn’t get a chat ID number which isnt offered at the end of your conversation! Agents WILL and CAN get over on the customer, as I was just fine like this!! Promise the customer things and do not comply and then go and put things in the notes and NOT include the things that was promised! That’s not fair to the customer bc the agents are able to fast talk you and get what THEY NEED, WHICH IS THE SELL!!
I know for A FACT that it’s another way that higher management can retrieve chat history, bc the company has to be able to cover themselves just in case something illegal goes on in chats! Just like all calls are recorded! I KNOW A CHAT HISTORY CAN BE RETRIEVED! I will get to the bottom of it!
Some of these agents are ridiculous, conniving, and very malicious! Just for a sell!

Basically what happened was a live agent upgraded my acct and lowered my bill bc I was going to leave att bc I’ve been paying darn there $300 a month for just TV and Internet... he offered to lower my bill and also a $300 reward card... a month later when I called to check on my reward they said I wasn’t eligible for one and it wasn’t in the system... the live agent that I spoke to promised to lower my bill and give me $300 reward card, which he said he would have to manually input it. I just don’t like for people to get over on customers just for the sell!

I had one agent leaving the chat and because he did so I didn't have the option to send the chat transcript to my email, even when back into chat to get my code 726 resolved and finding out after 2 hours that I will be out tv service till tomorrow,  even I got promised it to be the end of today,I have no confidence in it because  I am waiting for 15 days now to get my internet in and promised it be the day after or the week after for sure, I have 3 no shows and 2 that  the date has changed to a different day.  I asked to speak with a supervisor, now I did copy the part that this agent left, ***** * : Yes, please. Thank you for chatting with us today. The agent has left this conversation. For further questions, please click the chat button located on the right side of the screen.

the supervisor didn't say anything about it, only thing he said is, don't be that way, after I wrote:  like I said, I am so frustrated with this, if my tv doesn't come on by the end of the day, I am calling Comcast, and you can come and get the dish.    I just had it with all the false promises and never see any results, they are very good to apologize for the inconvenience, but you never just talk to one, no you get transferred over at least 6 times, in the 2 + hours today, I had 13 different agents , so how many agents does it take not to resolve your error code, at least 13

Hi I own an at&t device but I'm not in your coverage area and not a customer with you guys. I got this phone from someone in my place. I was hoping that you guys can upgrade my firmware.

Hello @Gthangg,

 

Thank you for your message.  Unfortunately, in order for the device to get a firmware update it would need an active ATT SIM as it is done over-the-air.
